    Hasbro 12" Indiana Jones

    Read the news on Toysdaily.

    12" Indiana Jones

Case is to include one each of Indiana Jones with whip action, "Talking" Indiana Jones, German Officer and Mutt with sword slash action.

    Arrives May 2008
    By Hasbro

And on the sidenote, there's a Japanese blindbox MRE set coming out in April (not sure if it's the same one being previewed some time back).

Hey Dave, I am quite sure that the Japanese ad above is not talking about the blindbox MRE. From what I can read, I am pretty sure that those are actually 1:1 food. In this case, it's 2 of the more popular combat rations that the Japanese Ground, Sea and Air Defense Force eat being made available to the public. Just add one cup of water!

    • The bulleted points above basically reads:
    • You can eat anywhere, anytime
    • Actual food consumed by the armed force
    • Comes in a portable and convenient packaging
    • Satisfyingly large portions (I think!)
    • Japanese type (?)
    • Can be kept for up to 3 years

(I could be wrong though. )

Btw, thanks for the headsup on the Indy Jones stuff. It's my first time being aware of those figures!

Haha, didn't know that, thanks for pointing out though. I always thought discussions on Toysdaily are toys related. Now when is that "ACTUAL" blindbox MRE set going to be in stores?

Haha no problem! They make everything in 1:6 these days so the mistake is not your fault. I don't know when they are going to come out but I do want to grab a few for myself. No news since the last time.

The Hasbro Indy is cool for what it is and you can get at least 3 of them (maybe more) for what the SS one costs. It's a pity that they are always closer to 1/5th than 1/6th.

    CHEERS!

PS (I wonder how long it'll be before that mail-away Ark crops up on eBay!?)

I pre-ordered the talking Indy. The headsculpt on the Whipping Indy looks pretty good for a generic Indy, if the pictures are accurate. But I wish they'd skipped Shia The Beouf and made Shortround instead

But I'm really glad they're doing this line. It'll be good to have an Indy that's durable and cheap enough to drag behind the truck or dangle over a snake pit if the urge hits me!
