Warner!? I thought Fringe was a Fox show!?

Well, that's put paid to hopes I had of a 24 tie in with Fewture/DID.

I see they haven't done anything with the Josh Jackson sculpt or the female one.

Meh. I really liked the show, and these figures show pretty well a good assortment of clothing used, and they look very good. the sculpts however... Are pretty bad really.

Well, I don't collect actors so no money lost for me, but it's a shame when we know perfect likeness can be achieved.

As stated, the likeness of Dunham is way off, Peter not too bad, But Walter is pretty good.

In a bubble they are fine sculpts, just not very accurate.

I think both of the male sculpts are real solid,and what a great collection of normal civillian type clothing.

The female sculpt without the bangs looks pretty nice..

1 out 3 for likenesses, with Walter being as good as it is, I wonder if they couldn't get sign off from the other two.

Love the show, but not impress with the figures/sculpts.

And their marketing is way off... they should have released these figures 2 or 3 years ago!

I like both of the "Olivia" head sculpts even if not an exact likeness. It seems to be much more difficult for sculptors to capture female faces than male.

Walter/nate looks good at least. And Peter's clothing looks top notch. And is it me or do I detect the slightest difference in facial expressions on him? Like an ever so slight frown on Walternate and something around the eyebrows?

But alas, I would be more interested in him if Olivia turned out better. I think her clothes should fit better like the guys do, likeness and hair issues aside. I feel like the upcoming PopToys BW outfit would fair better.

As an aside, can we speculate when DiD will attempt more female figures? Or is that part of Fewture's involvement in this release? I wonder what the body is. It seems to have a different frame than the HT/clones out there.

Not sure or really interested in the likenesses myself. However as ordinary people I like the girl and her clothes very much, the younger fella is good too. The older guy has some interesting clothes and accessories but I find the sculpt very wierd/scary. I guess it is all a bit academic though as these are sure to be expensive, right ?

Yeah, the preorder prices I've seen range from 135-150 so it's an easy pass for me anyway. Better than the first prices I saw haha.

Walter and Peter look perfect to me but Olivia is really hit and miss on both sculpts, the faces are too oval, not sharp enough, she has really strong features.

Besides, Kumik make apparently constant good female sculpt of (for most of us un)known females. It can be done.

Compared to that Peter, the Olivia doesn't look that bad, still not really on. But that josh Jackson... Sheesh! Maybe if he was the product of a pig and a monkey, that thing is ....ing horrible! The Walters look pretty good, though. Unfortunately too many figures coming out that I want more. Too bad, if all three had turned out better, I'd have gotten them. As is, I don't see the point in just one.

Hope I can pick up a couple for a reasonable price. I want to get one to do the original Splinter Cell version (Black with the TAK/OCP and long Suppressor)



and another one so I can do the Splinter Cell Conviction version (with short "suppressor" and different paint scheme)

Isn't it odd how these are licensed and yet the sculpts are worse for likeness than their unlicensed ones are? Go figure!

Er...it wasn't an excuse just an observation. I don't get the negativity on the male sculpts, they look spot on to me.
