Below are my pictures of a Rebel Lt. carrying the Army of Northern Virginia flag up the slope at Little Round Top at Gettysburg on July 2nd.
A couple people commented on my last post of a Union officer holding a Federal flag that bullet holes would look really good in the flag. Rather than redo that figure I decided to make this one dedicated to the Rebs. If you look carefully you can see the holes and rips in the flag. They aren't random, but are based on a photo of the 3rd Arkansas Infantry Regiment. Some day I will get motived to add the "3rd Ark" to the center of the flag.
The figure was inspired by an Andrea miniature that I really liked. The key element is the Rebel Flag. I found a dealer on the web that sells them in ~1/6th scale. Stiffy Fabric is used hold the wind blown shape.
