Hey folks...
Been working on this for a couple of weeks... kitbashed from a few figures.... custom resculpted head... and leg.
Ok... story...
About a month ago, an illustrated novel from Mike Mignola, creator of Hellboy came out... called Baltimore... or the Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire

I loved this book, and the character of Lord Baltimore so much... was so captivated by the depths of what drove him... that I needed him staring at me at all times. There were only two drawings done of him, the above one for the cover, and this one from the interior...

...and a bunch of text descriptions... so I had some liberties. It was all based in post WWI europe... so I grabbed a couple of "Bayonettes and Barbed Wire" Sideshow figures... and bought a couple of items from WarToys.... but the first step was to carve the leg. I made it from wood, with a hinged knee joint. I postulated that he'd craft a foot on the end, and would want it to look "finished" so I carved it as though it was a "boot" on the leg...

Then I got the word from Mr. Mignola himself that it ended in a peg... but I left the boot top... just to add weight and an interesting shape... and there you go!!!
Hope you like!!! Go read the book, it's fabulous!!!
cheers,
