    HKLN75 LOTUS ( sci fi weapon )

I have really been enjoying all of the incredible sci fi themed bashes of late, and with that in mind I have been tinkering a bit with some sci fi myself. I have my sci fi weapon to a point where I am ready to share some results.

I used a whole slew of parts to come up with the gun shown below. I wanted to come up with what I hope is a suitably sci fi name as well... HKLN75 LOTUS. I feature it as a more traditional weapon, which fires a cartridge ammo, and has contemporary optics - with the exception of the side mounted cobalt laser unit. It will go with an upcoming bash ( nowhere near done ) I hope that you all like the look of this weapon.

Thank you for taking time to look, and as always your comments and questions are welcomed and appreciated.

    -Mike

Wow Mike! I like this a lot. So that's what the sexy magazine is for. I like the traditional style plus a bit of SF taste. Did you make that foldable stock?

Love that HKLN75 LOTUS ! Outstanding detailing--an amazing amount of work. I like to make my own sci-fi weapons too--but I just don't have the patience, or the eyes for this kind of detail--you really take it to another level.
And thanks for the tutorial on the drum from your earlier post--it's cool to see it married up with the weapon.

That is a superb weapon, a work of art considering the scale of it. It's easy to forget just how small this is, it really makes you appreciate the fine detail all the more when you realise it is 1/6th.

It's certainly different from the type of Lotus I see in this neck of the woods

    Outstanding work

Man Mike that beast looks like it would beat the teeth right out of your head. Compact heavy fire power is a beautiful thing. I'm guessing it's dual feed? Great work as always. Now get the fig done so we can drool somemore.

Simply outstanding. The weathering, paint wear, just perfect. Looks like the other sci-fi gunsmiths have some competition.

Very nice work Mike. I like the H&K-family appearance. It kinda make me think that if H&K built Bolters, this is what they would like like.

Looks good! Can't wait to see the figure you come up with to use it. The weathering looks great.

Amazing work! My one thought is that I pictured that drum mag on a bigger more menacing weapon. This one seems more sleek/tactical. Just my 2 cents.
