~Magnus Deathbringer~ "The Destroyer" Medieval Viking Warrior bash

Hey guys! I have been wanting to do a Viking bash for some time now and now here he is! I hope you will enjoy and like him as much as i do, he was really great fun to put together and along with my El Diablo figure are my two favorite.
    Quick parts breakdown:

    Boots and pants:dml historical
Vest: i reworked Olaf wooly cape into a vest
Belt:did ww2 geman, filed down the buckle
Gauntlets: scratch built from scrap leather
Helmet: dml Olaf with SS horns resized and repainted the metal.
    Bone Necklace: SS
Sword and Scabbard: dml sword and scratchbuilt scabbard made from leather and black cord.
Knife and scabbard: TT knife and covered scabbard in scrap leather
Body and HS: dml Ermanarich with SS hands
    Club: SS
    Flail: scratch built
DeathBringer Axe: scratchbuilt using plastic dvd cases, leather, olaf's axe handle.

    Hope you enjoy everyone!
    Thanks!!

You beat me to the punch when it came to using the "horn of Gondor" I have a Troll in the works and will be doing exactly what you have done.

The creativity on your fig is off the charts. Way way to cool.

Hi 2088 and thanks very very much!! Really glad you enjoyed and i know what u mean, I have always had a special feeling for Vikings, there is just something extra cool about them. They are powerful and instill fear and so many other feelings and emotions, and i hope i captured a bit of that in mine. Thanks again!!

Very cool figure. His axe reminds me of a Gene Simmons guitar.

Outstanding! Good to see some sword and axe warriors.
I take it the horns were sideshow (SS?) From which figure or set?

Hi Mike and thanks very very much! I really love medieval weapons and with a figure like this you can let your imagination really go wild and have a lot of fun making weapons/accessories for him. Really glad you liked him and the gear i made from scratch, thanks Mike!!!
