Resistance: Fall of Man - Extras

    Hello,

Here are my entries for the Resistance: Fall of Man contest. I have not played the game so forgive me if this is not what was meant for the contest.

I don't have a lot of back story. I imagined that the female in the photo was a U/AV-17 Hawk pilot and the male is one of the soldiers she was transporting. They were shot down over Manchester, England by a Chimeran Slipskull. And these were the only two that survived the crash. They have been on the run for 8 days now trying to hook up with friendly forces.

I will try to write more as I learn more from them.

    Thanks,

Sweeet! Love to see more pics, especially of your pilot. Great work.
edit: Funny there was only one pic when I first responded. Very cool figs. What did you use for the pilots armor and weapon?

The breastplate is from Takara's Panzer Cop Midori Washio.

Thanks everyone! I was inspired by Gaia's two person bash, I started with the female and two days later decide on her partner.

She is indeed wearing the breastplate of Midori. Her weapon was made from many parts and was for another bash but I thought it fit well with this theme. Her headgear and look changed way to many times before I decide on this look for her. It kind of gives her a tough look now I think.

Hardcase the male figure weapon, Ranger I like that, is parts from a BAR and a M16 and a M203 grenade launcher.

I tired to model it after the main weapon in the game, but either decide its and improvement or an earlier model.

    Thanks for allowing this entry!

I think the WWII tanker helmet was a great choice.

    Great bashes, all around.

Question for you guys. I was wondering if it would be in bad taste to sell my figures for the Resistance contest. Reson being I don't have a PS3 and I don't think I will till next year. Also, I could use the money.

So do you think these would sell and what would be the best place to sell. I'm thinking ebay but I really have no idea if kitbashed figure even do well. I have a few parts in these and would like to get a few more bucks than I paid for some of this. If I can, hopfully I don't sound like I'm just trying to sell my stuff. I do enjoy the hobby but I collect so much if might be better for me to sell the stuff that I can't use.

    Thanks for your input.
