Thanks for sharing. A retro review is still a nice thing.

That was a pretty hot figure when it was released, even if the Osprey Vest was all wrong. It's no Hot Toys, but it wasn't priced like Hot Toys either. I was happy with mine at the time. Now.... well, it's still a fun figure, just not accurate.

Thanks for the review and I like your website too, hopefully it will prosper.Just one thing your LSW shouldn't have a front sight and I don't know why Dragon included a rear sight, in the twenty odd years I've been using the SA80 I've never seen a LSW with iron sight...but I could be wrong!

    Nice review - well done!

If you want to give him a beret you can't do better than to get one of Banjoman's annd add a Tony Barton IG cap badge.

Thanks guys for your kind comments!

@ S J I - I think you might be right, I just realised that when I image searched the L86, all of the ones with front iron sights were airsoft models! DOH!

I'm sure we had A2 versions of the rifle by 2003 as well, his is clearly a A1. Still really great you have done this review so I know there's no need to be in a hurry to buy this one, what's next?, how about one of the SAS snipers? So I decide whether or not to splash out on one of them...............

    only joking mate

@ S J I - yep definately an A1 model, not sure when they refitted them all out to A2 spec? I thought that was prior to 2003 - oh well, it might not be 100% accurate but it was a good model for the price, you couldn't build one from parts for that money.

@ Broadshore - hey, thanks - yes I managed to get it back up and running, the sql databases were intact and as you can see it's grown quite a bit since. Got some more reviews (accessories) to complete in the coming weeks!

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone, it's really appreciated. At least I know i'm on the right track!
