I am relatively new to the 1/6 scale hobby, however I have been plagued with one question since day one.
Where is the 1/6 Maxim machine gun?
No, I am not referring to the Russian wheeled kind. Nor am I referring to kitbashing a Vickers .30 cal or a .30 cal M 1917 A1.
I am talking about your traditional, two-handle, sled-mounted MG08 German WW1 style Maxim.
The kind that would have a removable disk at the muzzle (very schwarzlose-looking when it is attached).
Why don't we have one? What is the excuse? This is THE machine gun of WW1, not to mention its heavy use in subsequent conflicts like the Chinese civil war.
Anybody have any ideas?
