    HMMWV Progress: New Bumper

I've spent this last week working on this. I still have some small details left but for now, its done. This is the refferance pic:

Heres waht I came up with:

The center is open, the top part on the sides open revealing a storage area

This is the Bumper with the storage area doors open

The extended bumper allows the hood to open without hitting the bush gaurd (which is a little to tall and a little crooked

Photo is dark, but theirs a figure on the left, this one shows stuff in the sorage sections (fire extingisher, wire cutters in left box, Haligen bar and bolt cutters in the other)

Hey, just say its a field mod... vield mods never have to be straight...

Honestly, with the hood down, you cant really tell its crooked (in the picture)... Great work, i cant wait to see the final product (whole hummer)

You could try cutting sections from a fan belt.

Holy cow I never thought of that! And we should still have a couple rubber belts for a table saw that my dad sold so we aren't even useing them! Man! So simple yet so hard... I guess I was just thinking to hard, thanks Tank Mechanic!

This link goes to the Adobe file that I got refferance pics from. Its maybe a 3 page doc so pretty small. The pictures are pretty good. DarthBoz, if you end up making one yourself, please let me know how it turns out!

    Heres the link!
