Any idea where I can locate 761st Armored Division patches?

Hey All:

I'm putting together a 761st "Black Panther" Tank Battalion figure and I need his patches. I've checked CVI and Patches of Pride, but no luck. I emailed Patches of Pride to see if they can make one for me. While I wait, does anyone have any suggestions?

@ Mister Toy...try Patches of pride ...he made me some 1,5 years ago!!!

I emailed him and asked for the patches and like I said he just made me a few.

CVI and Patches of Pride were the two first places I checked. I didn't see any on either site, but I did email Patches of Pride. Hopefully they can help.

Did the 761st wear the armored forces triangle with the numerals on it during the war? I've always been told that these patches were not seen until after VE day.

Hmm, I'm not really sure. Can anybody verify this before I go nuts trying to find this patch? And if they didn't wear this patch during the war, what did they wear?

They did wear their Unit Patch!!!
I ve just read "Brothers in Arms" about the 761st.
Here is a picture out of the book wich shows a member (in Bootcamp) with the Unit Patch on uniform.

YA might try www.opstoys.com email 'em for the info on who wore what patch. and check out their custom patches and they do make requests if they don't have it

First guy I'd ask is Brian (unforgiven5150). He's done ALL of my 1/6th patches for my British Forces including some very specialized Gurkha ones.
