Hasbro HMMWV before and after pics

It's been a while since I posted any pictures of my Hummers, so I thought I'd show 'em off a bit.

For starters, here's a few pics of the factory fresh one with DML "Cody" behind the wheel.

    And as they are now...

These beasties were customized by a friend of mine Sean Prittle of Calgary, AB. Sadly he is not a member of the OSW or any other on-line 1/6th community as he doesn't have a computer!

He's got great game though as you can see!

Those are superbly done. It's a shame this guy isn't online, he'd be a great asset to the hobby.

I have to say that those vehicles are sweet! It looks as though your friend used the green base color to advantage with the sand colored overspray. Just the right amount of contrast....and those scratches on the molded high-spots is yummy. A++++++++

Looks Great but now I have to get back to mine after seeing these pics. Tell your Amigo he needs to get a cpu so he can give us some more pics or it looks like you will have to spend more time at his house taking pics and putting them on. Let him know I think his work is excellent as I am sure all of us do

Actually Mike, Sean is a diorama specialist who builds them for the store he works in.

He's a fellow hobbyist that sticks mostly to Star Wars and Fantasy style figures.

These cost a bundle to customize, but I think they're worth every penny.

Alan, I have to tell you, I'd trade these babies for similarly detailed 1/6th Land Rover 110's in a heart beat.

Not sure if John will see this post as he visits infrequently these days. The Mk19 would probably be found on ebay. That would be your best bet. They were made by 21st Century and haven't been made in awhile.

Or you could come right out here and ask if anyone has one they would be willing to part with.

They pop up in our Shop & Trade section, but looking at your post count, you might not be able to put a "looking for..." thread there.

    Or ebay.

Always good to see John and Sean's work resurected.

Oh, I recalled seeing a picture of a Humvee with a disarmed IED strapped to the bumper(?). On the IED the crew wrote" No thank you! We brought our own". I thought that was funny.

Great job on these. The scrapes and wear look like the real wear and tear on the CARC paint.

Sadly, those were not "camera phone" quality pictures back in 2005... ;-) ... but I too have a Hasbro Humvee en route ...

Another thought I don't under stand why no one else other than 21st. has made a MK19
most westurn countries use them so I has a wide market.
