    Yikes ! This is the first weapon I've ever seen where I might have to worry about confusing the scope with the barrel.

    seriously the barrel's facing right isn't it ? It's got an indentation in "front" that looks like it could be the stock.

    I saw a much better picture of this weapon in Small Arms Review some months back. It was sitting on a table at an industry convention. Can't remember, but I think they said it was from Singapore.
    I have noticed that it is never shown with anyone actually holding it. It has to be massive and terribly unwieldy.
    It does look kewl though.

    That's the PHASR (Personnel Halting and Stimulation Response rifle). It's a non-lethal weapon that temporarily blinds it's target.
