    zebraten: thanks appreciate the feedback.

hotoyscollector: this one is sold haha, ver 2.0 might be coming down the pipe though.

uramegak: thank you as always, much appreciated.

socrates, Romy Adzan, woodmanduc999s, Abn_Chief, getoninja, steve74, init zero: I really appreciate the kind words.......makes me want to post more haha.

saiko: the mask is a modified ww2 German mask from this set:

theAngelKing: Thank you for the recommendations. I'm not real good with accuracy.....that's why I do sci-fi mostly haha. I'm more of a fashion over function guy when it comes to 1/6 I think you are right about the stock I used. I have some ak's with a side folding stock but the stock looked too thin......this option just lloked better to me. Thanks

Ian: he is extremely happy......and that makes me very happy. Thanks

holiday: thank you....I wasn't sure who made the boots. they came in a 1/6 gear lot I bought a while back.

    pacoman, polonium: thank you.

furious genius: thanks for your recommendations, do you have a links for the AK bayonet and the fanny pack?
I did look at the DiD and SS soviet backpacks, unfortunately this commission was done under a very....VERY tight budget in order to accommodate the customer's budget. Most of the pieces I already had in my parts bin. I would like to try out version 2.0 soon.

    DrJack: thanks

cdn rhino: hmmmmmmmm a Hind huh? hahaha could you imagin how big that would be Mike? Would love one for a Red Dawn bash......WOLVERINES!!!

sampol: thanks.....can't wait to cook something up with you.

darth rodo: appreciate the feedback as always.......thanks

    tarrigon: thanks

del: you keep up that good taste can't wait to see what you take on next. Thanks.

    Re: S.t.a.l.k.e.r.

I should have said this in the begining as well. This bash was done under a TIGHT budget. The customer is new to 1/6th and didn't have a lot to spend. I took on the challenge because of the cool mask, this style seemed up my alley, and the customers enthusiasm about my work......I didn't want him to end up with hasbro parts..... In order to accommodate the budget almost all the pieces came from parts I already had on hand and accuracy was sacrificed.

I will revisit this with version 2.0 for my own collection.......any parts recommendations and links please let me know.

here's a WIP shot to show where it started. It's a Did Russel Franklyn/ Dragon German parka hood hybrid =) My dogs got a hold of the backpack in the photo......it is severly weathered now haha

I know I mentioned it not being the stock in the pic But man the more I look at yours especially without the rubber band I think I'm going to use the same Sig rifle stock on one of my 1:6 AK's

It definitely looks cool, and way better than the original wire stock. I really like your other scifi apocalypitc bashes you usually do too by the way.

I myself have made it. The butt of the tree, the body and the sight of the AK, the barrel of Sterling L34A1. The photo unfinished version.

That is amazing, more so because its a 'quick bash' for you. I wish I could get my regular bashes I spend days on sometimes to look that good. Very well done.

Looking back at this thread ten years later. I see an awesome bash, based on a great game. Since it's been ten years and I've got a different account, I'll say.

To the folks who felt the need to critique this guys work, and point out, "the gun isn't correct" or "you could have found soviet parts loose".

Had he posted and asked for criticism, a critique of his work or advice. Yeah I'd get chiming in.

But he posted his images, and unless I'm blind, the OP never asked for advice.
