I used a few of those tamiya weathering kit and some cushed up chalk pastels. Like I said before this is my 1st kitbash so I really didn't know what I was doing, when I used the tamiya stuff I couldn't get the effect I was looking for until my girlfriend told me to add water because she said the tamiya stuff was kind of like makeup. I dabbed a small paint brush with water and started to layer it on. I think it turned out pretty good.

He is part of a set I'm doing of a unit set up by the government to combat supernatural forces that plague the earth after the apocalypse of 2012, when the gateway to hell is opened.

I love the post-apocalyptic theme and the concept of the backstory. Exceptional work. I will recommend this for kitbash of the month.

    Re: America Lost

That is some seriously sick work for your first attempt! Looks like the work of a veteran pro to me!

The figure is very creative with all the little attentions to detail and gear-- and that base is just brings the whole thing to life!

    Super impressive work!
