    The Chachapoyan Temple Display 1/6

    Hi All

I wanted to make something a little different when I decided to make another Indy dio/display so after a little thinking about it I came up with this idea for a display. My 4 yr old daughter gave me help by telling me to add spider webs and grass/vines hanging of the map after she watched Raiders with me.

    RECIPE

1: Indiana Jones - is from TLC dio I made back on 30/05/2009 as I'm still waiting for figure parts to arrive for a figure for this display.

2: Base - I've done a tutorial for the display so you can view the recipe here http://www.hemblecreations.com/tutorials.htm

    Absolutely incredible.
Thanks for posting the link to your site and tutorials.
They are really well written and comprehensive and have answered MANY things I have been curious about before trying to dive into diorama projects.
Hats off and thank you for sharing your work.

    Awesome diorama!

I have a couple of questions regarding diorama building.

What is Plaster of Britain and Plaster of Paris? And where can I get them?

Basically you used foam as base for building and then apply plaster over them, then carve the plaster to get stone or brick effect, correct?

    Thanks!

Plaster of britian and plaster of paris is the same material I belive and you should be able to get it from any good hobby shop or craft shop.

I actually carve the details into the foam first and then add the plaster over the top of that.
