My first project using Super Sculpey Grey, a 1:6 French 1892 Revolver. I will chronicle my attempts in this thread!
I used nickel plated copper wire (art wire) to set up a frame, create a trigger guard, the lanyard ring and support the barrel about 3/4 of the way.
I need to learn how to make cleaner flat surfaces and straighter barrels! I think I'll need to partially or fully cook the parts separately such as the frame, barrel and cylinder...
I also think that other polymer clays might be better suited to this type of work and have some Fimo to try out.
