    Hello from Kentucky

Hi everyone. I've been collecting 1/6th action figures off and on for the past 25 years, primarily vintage & modern (1990's) GI Joe figures as well as some Captain Action figures and costumes. Looking forward learning about the state of the hobby now and going forward.

    Steve

    Welcome Shermanator!

    Greetings from Arizona!

State of the hobby today is a fair number of extremely well detailed figures available, but be prepared for some serious sticker shock.... gone are the days of “good enough” but reasonably unexpensive sets from the likes of Dragon and 21 Century. If you are into kit bashing, this may very well be the “golden age”.

Thanks all! I remember when DML figures were "high-end", LOL. I have a few of them in addition to GI Joes. Given my budget, kit-bashing may be the way to go for now.
