End of Watch 07 November, 2010

Six years, and today the pain is as sharp as then. We carry that with us, as well as the best of what Ryan was. I believe he leads the watch over all of us here.

I would like to say, that although I wasnt on the board at the time, he seems (based on posts) he was an outgoing, and truly loyal man. Rest in peace, sir.

Here's something I ran into today, while searching for something else. It says a lot about Ryan, and something about members of OSW in those days.

PD, thank you for posting this link! It was both sad to read, and made me smile when I saw the names of guys I met at the old Weekend of Heroes shows. Guys I haven't seen since then, and (some) that haven't been on the board for years. And of course Ryan, who we lost 7 short years ago in the line of duty. Amazing man.

Good times, awesome fellas. Where do the years go?

Seven years on, the grey skies here recall the pain of that 7 November. We miss you Ryan, but feel your spirit here, with us every day.

Eight years have passed since we lost Ryan. We carry on as best we can knowing you've got our backs from above.

Eight years... Crazy. Well, he has the ultimate overwatch position to cover down on all of us.
