Haven't successfully gotten together with old wargaming buddies at Manhattan and Riley, in years. Saturday we fought the Battle of Westport in a garage in Riley, KS. Scale: 15mm. System: Johnny Reb. Fun had: Big, BIG FUN.

The above pic looks at my corner of the fight, around the Loose Farm (now Loose Park). Beginning of the fourth or fith turn, orders about to be revealed. I ended up with parts of both Shelby's and Fagan's divisions, and paid dearly for wheedling Blair's Union Third Brigade out of that position. Dismounted Arkansas and Missouri Cavalry fighting Kansas Militia and Kansas/Wisconsin Artillery, right near the border.
