You need to read the article. I don't think they actually found living tissue.
I remember there being a whole circus back in the day becuase someone misread an article about someone finding hemogolbin fragments (fossilized of course) from a t-rex.
Here. It has a lot to do with how creationists applied the knowledge, but the article does a god job of explaining the differance if you bear with it.
I did read the article. No, they didn't find living tissue. As for the title of this thread, I just picked something catchy-- it's impossible to clone a creature that has been extinct for millions of years.
it is pointless though, since to clone an animal you need its dna, and dna cant survive over millions of years, it deteriorates. so, yeah, its a nice scientific find, but no clones any time soon.
genetic modification of large birds or reptiles might yield dinosaur type results though.
