Hello, Does anyone know by chance where one could purchase corrugated metal roofing in 1/6 scale, or how to make it, any help on this would be much appreciated!
I believe they sell corrugated paper at Michaels- you can paint it up and it looks great! Also, some, some cardboard you can remove one side, leaving the inside corrugated- it's a bit of a pain in the ... though...
I was thinking wet down cardboard then let it dry to give it that corrugated look, but its too thick if you want to simulate thin metal sheets. Good for "reinforced" walls or doors though. I have a zombie stronghold wall / door type I'm thinking about and was playing with wet then dried cardboard.
I have tried the cardboard method (pic below). Scale is all wrong. At close range one can see all the paper fiber on the surface, it doesn't look like metal. It's ok from a distance.
Plastruct styrene sheets are the most accurate in scale. Even though they call it 1/16, I think it works great at 1/6. Here's the result below.
