Help on setting up the turban on a 1/6th head

Hi guys,

Just got a WW2 Moroccan DML figure and having a real hard time putting the turban, or whatever you call it, on his head. Is there a thread here that has a tutorial on how to put that one on? The figure comes with a long white cloth and I have no idea whatsoever on how to put it on him. It appears to be not long enough to cover the whole head. I also noticed from internet pics that there are different types of putting this things on. I'd like to set it up like an arab mujahedeen wear, not an Indian turban. Can somebody direct me somewhere, or post some pics on how to put it on? Thanks a lot.

The Moroccan's turban is a smaller [edit] (military?) type, not one of the larger affairs. I believe it's supposed to be more rounded than the "Indian" style. Here's a link to a pdf file that shows how to tie them - http://www.daviddfriedman.com/Mediev...s_V_Turban.pdf

Thanks PD. So, I need to make a turban cap first since the Mustafa fig doesn't come with one. I figured I could cut this out from a small white colored uninflated party balloon. The last link was good, but it's in German, I think. I'll just use my eyes and imagination with that one. Thanks again, really appreciate the help.

NP, eventually I hope to dig up some more details on all the variations. Pictures of Moroccan troops fighting in Spain during the civil war show them sporting small turbans, sometimes set back on their heads. I assume some sort of uniformity was attempted.

Here's a how to that I did, the tail would be shorter [ to the middle of the shoulder blades ]or not there at all on an Arab style imama

white, black or green are mostly the colours used
