I know there is a way to do this, just not real sure how. I have 1/1 printable cartons, etc, that I want to print in 1/6th. I don't have any print programs to use, by the way. Any idea how to do this?
Thanks in advance.

You will need an image editing program of some sorts. First either scan or take a high quality picture of your item. Then edit image in software editing program. make sure your image has a very high DPI (I usualy increase it to 600dpi). Then scale printable proportions to 1/6 size of the real thing and print it out...

The main trick is to have a good starting point. As I said, either a good high quality scan or picture. If your starting image is not good, nothing good will come out - you will need to revise/improve image by hand and this might take a lot of time.

P.S. Another important thing to keep in mind is color palette. If you are taking picture yourself, make sure camera has a proper white balance set on it. If you are scanning - be prepared to do some color tweaking. When I was doing custom patches, anything coming out of scanners needed color tweaking...

This may be a little late in the game, but if you have 1:1 printable images for boxes and the like, you are at a better starting point than most of us. Most of us have to GET that image to start with.

Take a copy of your image and use GIMP or some other image manipulation tool to "edit" it. You don't want to actually change the image itself, just change the properties. Look for something that tells you the image is supposed to print at say 100 dpi. If you find that, just change it to 6 times what the original number is. If your image is 150 dpi, changing it to print at 900 dpi will make the result come out at 1/6 original size which is what we are after.

With GIMP, this feature is called "Scaling".
