Hi...I want to paint the grips on a pistol I have to look more like the rubber/synthetic grips that would be found on a revolver...Im trying to decide on a color paint, since most of the real ones I see are kind of a cross between a black and gray, and if there is something I can put over the paint to simulate a "rubber" look...Thanks...

Tamiya do a "XF-85 Rubber Black' acrylic which should be just about perfect.
