What is a good acrylic steel paint? I'm trying to paint a knife blade and was thinking about getting Steel Testors Acrylic Plastic Model Paint:

Amazon.com: Steel Testors Acrylic Plastic Model Paint: Toys & Games

I don't want it to look like a grey plastic knife which is how it does now with some "metallic grey" paint I got at Walmart for a buck. ;-)

Thanks!

What I do is use black Testors paint. Paint the item then let it dry, really it dry a day or so.
Then get a brush, dip it in Testors silver, brush the paint brush almost dry on a piece of news paper.
Then dry brush the silver on the black.
Really rub the silver into the black, you may not see the silver on the black when you rub it in, but when you finish it will look metallic.
A good way to show wear on edges.
Comes out really good, but heck on brushes!
