Iíve been getting quite a few questions lately on how to paint eyes.
Hereís how I do it.
I start by drawing the outline of the iris with a .05 mechanical pencil.

Next I thin some paint to a 50/50 ratio, this should make the paint flow nicely into your outlined iris.

Finally I shade the corners of the eyes to give the illusion of a rounder eyeball, and also add some darker shading to the top of the iris.
I make the pupil with a sharp 15/0 brush.
Some Future Floor finish adds some shine.

Another question: which kind of paint suits better for this job? Do you thinner the Future or use as is?

Gents, I have a link to this, I believe, when I get home I'll try to look it up and post it. I have tried the pencil and I end up carving to much of the white eye paint up in the process but that may just take some more practice.

^The pictures being archived on the site? Considering it's a good thread. Someone who has the pictures saved, uploading them? You never know if you don't ask!
