Anyways, I have no idea at all on what weapons to use for this bash. Please help!

Use pieces cut from the bottom of a McDonalds Side Salad container.

The bottom line is that if you really want a custom gun, get some plastic pieces like Evergreen polystyrene strips, rods, tubes, etc., file and sand them a bit and glue them together. Keep tweaking until you are satisfied. That is basically what everyone else does. There often aren't any shortcuts but then again, you pretty much decide when you are done.
