I'd have to say that the majority I see are Suunto watches. They have an electronic compass, barometer, altimeter, etc and are usually a unit purchase. That was the only way I was going to get a watch that expensive.
Suunto are neat watches, but they are HUGE. I can't wear mine when not in the field as it just looks too freakin big on my wrist. I don't know if there are any 1/6 ones around but I've been wondering that myself. I am sure that with all of the modern special ops figures coming out that someone will get the watch.
While I'm not in the military, I'm somewhat of a fan of sport wristwatches, and the great big 'ole ones always catch my eye when I see someone wearing one. I currently wear a G-Shock, in the past I've worn a Casio diver's watch, and my brother currently wears a huge honkin' Casio Pathfinder.
I've seen a lot of footage of Afghanistan and Iraq on the news and on PBS, etc. I've seen quite a few sport watches on the wrists of our troops, but by far the vast majority has been the G-Shock.
Probably the most accurate 1:6 watches that I've seen along these lines are:
I've only seen 1 or 2 Suunto watches up to this point. It would be a cool watch to see in 1:6!
