Here is the pattern i use to make baseball caps. i make them on a sewing machine. You can make them by hand stitching too, i'm sure. Results will vary depending on previous sewing experience, skill level, etc.

Cut 2 brims and six crowns. Sew the brims together & turn inside out. Top stitch.

Sew the crowns together along the long side. Fold up the bottom hem, & iron.

Tack stitch the brim inside the bottom of the cap. Then sew the bottom hem all the way around, making sure to catch the brim. remove the tack stitches and your'e done.

Would you be interested in selling some of your fine piece of work? If so I would be interested in ordering a few caps.

ACE makes very nice baseball caps and they are relatively cheap. The easiest would be to just buy and use them, but if for any reason you want to make your own (different color or whatever) - buy one as a sample, carefully take it apart noting how it was put together, make a template of each part, transfer to your choice of fabric and sew new parts together...

This is the easiest way to go because you do not need to create your own templates.
