1- all the stuff you will need. ring binder for the cardboard, duct tape, sharpie (or equaly round marker), and scissors.
2 and 3 mesure and cut cardbaoard to width of duct tape.
4 and 5 wrap around shrpie and mark the length.
6 cut one length then use it to cut a bunch more depending on how many you want.
7 wrap it around the sharpie.
8 wrap duct tape around it a couple of times.
9 looking good
10 and 11 cut the tube about 4 times giving you 6 rolls of duct tape.

54thCuda2 08-10-2003, 18:47 How wide did you cut the rolls? I'm guessing about 1/4"?
pukingdog 08-10-2003, 19:19 ...at 1/6 scale, a more or less standard 2" wide roll would be about a third of an inch.
Great technique. Or in the words of the philosopher Seinfeld, "Newman!".
FlyAndFight 08-10-2003, 19:53 Fantastic How-To! :thumb

crisibabe.
AH!!!!!!!!! Cool! Thats what I need!
Guess I know what I'm gonna be makin' on my day off.
After reading this thread I was inspired to make some of my own. Instead of using the cardboard from a notebook, I used the paper tube that you get back with your slacks from the dry cleaners. The tube is a little thick, so I just unraveled some from the inside with an exacto knife after I wrapped the tape and cut to size.
Newman...thanks for the inspiration!
