There u go. A confirmed method tried and tested this evening.

Jediguy had his HT Ripley melt when he tried ACETONE so guys stay away from ACETONE when striping HT head sculpts.

Cool!
Will this work for others too? Sideshow? Dragon? etc

I wouldn't know J3D1. I have only managed to strip the HT TACP head sculpt and a bootleg Lincoln Burrows head sculpt.

No probs, I have a few spare luke yavin heads so will give it a try if I can work out where the missus keeps her nail polish remover!

Oh yeah... wear a mask when using it. Prolonged exposure is now making my head spin..... WHeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEE

Non-Acetone nail-polish remover will work with almost all soft plastics and a few hard ones, too (as in hard-plastic miniatures a la GW). Also, I've used it on resin with good results.

And the trip after the chore is worth it! :lol

Sorry for bumping this insanely old thread, but... I'm not having much luck removing my Phicen heads' facepaint with non-acetone nailpolish remover. Some of it came off, but around the eyes it's not working. The lashes and eyelid creases are still there. And I have been rubbing hard for ages now :(
