    i have a silly question :

why whould the corner shot rifle need a picatinny rail? any scope you mount will only look straght ahead. not around the corner.. the stated reason FOR the rifle.......

This is designed for police use only, it accecpts pistols only.

As for the rail, you can positons the hand gun straight, rifle like, and use it that way as well.

The British army have recently been trialling a similar set-up to this. It was a lot smaller and attached to a 9mm Browning Hi-Power pistol. It didn't look as fancy as this though. Don't think it had a screen and was a fixed 90 degree angle set-up.

no it doesn't, i watched a show called "future-weapons" and in that they said (and showed) a special M4 that can go on it, so not just pistols....
