    Mmmmk Update !

Hey guys/gals, here's a small update - all photos can be found on af.mil .

    First, PJs:

Check out the variety of packs of these guys

Does the MICH normally ride this high, or are his goggles mad low?

Check out his subload - looks like he's carrying a radio there

Note how he's tied his rappelling gloves

    Update 2

OK, again, these are from AF.mil ...

NOTE: hey anyone, I'm kinda dumb, and I don't know how to thumb-nail pix. Some of our users are probably experiencing LAGAMATHON from my non-thumbed pictures, so if someone can give me a heads-up or edit my stuff, that's cool. Now for the PIX:

    Guess Who?! TACPS!

    CCT/PJs

Same CCT from above, just with the rifle in hand. The two other pictures are PJs, I like the strobe on the helmet.

    Tacp

Staff Sgt. Nicholas Elek, a joint tactical air command and control journeyman, coordinates close-air support with the pilot of an Apache helicopter during a training exercise. JTAC is one of several enlisted special tactics career fields qualified high school graduates can choose from when joining the Air Force. Sergeant Elek is with the 11th Air Support Operations Squadron at Ft. Hood, Texas. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Scott Reed)

It's not that great of a pic, but I was wondering if anyone can tell what type of pouches he's using?

Here is a picture of TACP guys I picked up at militaryphotos. Nothing to write home about, but shows their gear nicely and I think this is the most important thing on this forum

    Hi,
In that Djibouti freefall pic, it's a Sage Int. Enhanced Battle Rifle (fancy pants M14). Ask me how I know. ; ) Also, the guy in the top big picture (the one with all the mags across his chest) had that rig made for him, it's not a COTS item.
    Regards,
    G

Another pic of a PJ with a M14 EBR..

A pararescue jumper, equipped with night vision goggles, scans the Iraqi terrain during a combat search and rescue rehearsal mission Feb. 24 outside Balad Air Base, Iraq. He and his teammates use these rehearsal missions to stay proficient. They are assigned to the 64th Expeditionary Rescue Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Cecilio M. Ricardo Jr.)

I'd say probably not if they can help it. Alot of the time they are attached to other units so they would wear what they are wearing - and secondly the ABU(despite the name) is not really designed for combat use(pocket config, colours, etc).

The colors, and pocket configuration(mostly colors) Do not differ much from the ACU's, and the ABU's are a combat uniform.
