    Question : Eyes/ Future/ Pledge ?

    Hi,
I've been working on painting a load of resin headsculpts for months now.
I've noticed many of you have suggested using "Future Floor polish" to gloss up eyes and lips on such projects. Problem is I can't find "Future Floor Polish". What I have seen around is "Pledge with Future Shine Floor Finish".

Is this the same product ?

    Thanks
    Jim

Use CRYSTAL 3D Lacquer ....it was made for giving doll's eyes the 3 dimensional look of real eyes.
Scroll down a ways to find it here:

    http://www.dollmakersjourney.com/supplies.html

    here is the product description:

Originally developed for the rubber stamp industry to create dimensional surfaces on paper, this thick, water based, crystal clear lacquer is perfect for creating realistic fingernails on cloth dolls. Easy to apply, it also does a fabulous job of creating dimension and shine on the eyes and lips. A MUST HAVE product for every doll maker's supply chest. Instruction sheet included.

I'm uneasy with using anything that involves the descrips "fabulous", or "to die for". Just doesn't seem to gel with mandoll procedure.
