Hot Toys - MMS DX 01 - The Dark Knight - 1/6th scale The Joker collectible figure

Hot Toys is proud to announce our brand new product line – MMS DX (Movie Masterpiece Deluxe), featuring a newly developed technique on the eyes of our collectible - Parallel Eyeball Rolling System (PERS) with Colored Translucent Iris. The debut of the line is THE JOKER from the Dark Knight movie:

l Hot Toys True Type figure with over 35 points of articulation
l Stands approximately 12 inches / 31 cm tall
l Dressed in Gotham City police suit, hat, Gotham City cop badge and shoes, the characters wears for assassination scene in the movie.
l Weapons -M1 Garand Rifle
l Additional costume: Improved & movie-accurate Joker costume of an overcoat, sport coat, vest, shirt, tie, pants, belt, socks and shoes, with grenades rig and suspenders
l Weapons and accessories : Five pieces of grenades, knife, pistol and Joker cards
l Seven Interchangeable posing hands
l An interchangeable and new make-up Joker head featured with Parallel Eyeball Rolling System (PERS) and Translucent Iris.

now I am truly mad, thats it, no more hottoys products until the first version is released for more than a year, I'm in no hurry to buy anything they produce from now on.
And to be honest the likeness is still off, and the coat's fabric seems too thick and baggy, and why no clothed shoes and rooted hair?

Fantastic stuff. Bravo Hot Toys!!!! I love it, moving eyes and all. Can't wait to get hold of this one; it's probably the best production figure I've ever seen!

Geez everyone's doing moving eyeballs these days. These look really well done though, the new (?) Joker sculpt is definitely enhanced by them.

I might go for the uniform loose but only if I see a real bargain. Once I get my Harvey Dent I think I"m pretty much done with figures from this movie, unless they release Scarecrow(please, please let them make Scarecrow).

Probably be in the $150-200 range. Great figure and with the added outfit really brings this one out. Not sure yet if this is a buy or a skip, really like the overcoat although.

I originally thought it was two seperate figures and thought I'd give them both a miss but if you get all of that in one box I'm game if the price is right!

Is the production going to be comparable to the prototype considering it is touted as "deluxe"? There was a noticeable drop in quality with version one from prototype to final product, especially with the ensemble. Hopefully, Hot Toys will fine tune this Joker just like its Dark Knight figure.

Whew very impressive! Have not gotten myself a Joker yet so very tempting... Hmm...do agree it could be about 220 - 250.

Ok Hot Toys, just forget about this Joker. Sell what you have right now. Go back in time, take Heath's DNA, and go from there. Better luck next time.

I'll get one, simply because I haven't actually managed to get a Joker yet. This looks to be the best so far, and comes with two outfits and a ton of accessories. Sounds like a win win situation to me. If I'd brought the original 2 Joker's I'd be really really peeved though, because they've done all this work to him to make him as good as they can, just to make the poor bastards that brought the last 2 versions spend another 250 if they want the 'top of the range' DX model.

As regards to the coments about the likeness.......to me picture 3 showing him holding the string attached to the grenades looks DEAD ON!!

I have the previous two, and I can easily resist this one....

The cop outfit don;t interest me at all, so besides the impressive pervert eyes, this Joker doesn't offer too much.

Hmm i might just get that one, depending on the price. Dont have a joker yet and i could easily make 3 Figures with that. (1 Joker, Use the Police Uniform with a different Nude Body, and the Scarred Joker without makeup for a Military Bash)

I have to admit, those moving eyes are pretty damn nifty. Maybe I will be able to pick the purple coat clothing stuff for my bank robber Joker when this figure hits.

I just noticed they changed the Police Gloves, before on the teaser pics they looked like fabric, the new ones are definetly molded.

Now if they can just do this with a first release instead of the third on the next cool thing, they might restore some fan faith. This is a great piece that is taking a big steaming dump on the heads of everybody that bought the first two. Thanks, Hot Toys, and phuk you at the same time.
