Question For Hot Toys USMC SNiper 23rd regement OWNERS
Hello Folks I have a question for for all of you who own the HT USMC SNIPER FROM THE 23rd REGEMENT. I used to own this figure a while back then sold it and lateri bought another one LOL. When unboxing it i realize that the scope that attaches to the rifle has a slight tan color to it with a little black wash on it, its funny cause it does not match the the green M40 rifle he has. I also know that the HT tiger Stripe USMC sniper has a tan rifle as well so if it is tan i can relate to the color match at least. All i want to know is if this is common? with the 23rd version that the scope is tan in some areas but the majority is black......Also if you do not mind do any of you that have the figure boxed or unboxed notice that the clamps that go around the scope if they are also tan slightly in color instead of green on yours.
In the end maybe this was a Hot Toys manufacturers issue??? meant for the HT tiger sripe but put in the wrong box???

No the MOPP version does not say 23rd reg on box this is the Camoflauge version that looks like Lincoln burrows.

Are you sure? Lincoln Burrows is the MOPP version (23rd Regiment). The Tiger stripe and MARPAT are the ones not assigned to a unit.
Either way it's the same with ours, olive green M40, tan rail attachments.

I have the MCCUU Version and the scope rings appear to match the rifle with no black at all. It appears to be a greenish tan and matches the rifle pretty well.
