Israeli Gaza Incursion uniforms and gear ?
Has anybody tried to do the Israeli soldiers in the current invasion ?? How much of Armoury's old figures can be used ? The Vest looks familiar but I don't know what a close 1/6th equivalent would be .

Those cloths would be helmet camo cover. It breaks helmet outline which would be more effective than regular helmet covers.
There are several members here done really cool modern IDF bashes using Armory gear and some customs. Maybe you will get some results by searching.

(arms folded across chest, speaking with face set in stoic manner) "The one called viper29 speaks the truth".
At the end of 08, we had several situations like this. More warnings than usual were posted, and much slack was deployed, "...what with Christmas coming on and all..."
The holidays are over. It's a new year. You get one chance to make good, and then it's the brig for you. Those of you who have chosen to go political on this, consider the shot having hissed across your bows.
We all have our feelings and opinions, I had a particularly energetic discussion with an old friend on Saturday. That was out in the world. In here, that stuff gets parked at the front gate.

The bashes above me are awesome. I have the Armoury stuff and I find their pants to be too tight. I'm wondering if they used different pants. Great work all around.

If you were the one that started talking about politics you started talking about it in the wrong place. This is a site for action figures not politics.
My bad then

I never started "talking about politics"--that's a damn lie. It's just that some helpful advice was taken completely the wrong way (sniff).

I can see that Armoury's helmet straps need extensive re-working- still anybody have recommendations for the vest ?

Argus- I used the Nam pants for the two male figures in the first photot. I transplanted the cargo pockets and made the inseam a little tighter to make tighter pants.

We have Thermal sights about that size we put on m4's and m240's. I dont know what model they use but its probably along the same lines as a PAS 13

It was a BAD joke Viper. I spent the last five years of my career at the Battle Lab at Ft. Benning modeling the thermal sights being used and to be used by you in the future. Thanks though... : )

The IDF's Mitznefet floppy helmet cover reminds me of the Sardauker in the Sci Fi Channel Dune series.

Wow, great IDF figures, I really wish to see more dioramas, of early 80's, 90's and today's IDF, would be great.
