WOW!!! You definitley and true to form, captured the most realistic Iron/Rust on board any USNAVAL vessels out in the fleet. Being a former Gunnersmate, I always have seen these annoying salt-rust always forming around my 25mm's. No matter how much we stripped, sand, and paint...it always comes back!!! Truley, this is an amazing piece!!!

So well done. That looks 1:1 to me and the paintwork is absolutely spot on!!! Nice.

This IS what a 40mm AA gun looks like! You can't get any closer than this.

Simply amazing!! I have the 40mm gun set in storage waiting for some spare time to detail it and the crew. When I'm done it probably still wont look as good as yours! Stunning work!

Very nice. I've seen actual 40mm mounts aboard museum ships, and pictures of yours could pass as the real thing!
I should know. I was a Gunner's Mate (Guns) in the Navy!

Simply a masterpiece. I can NOT believe that came from Hasbro...just too detailed.
If anyone has one of these for sale, please PM me.

Well after seeing what an awesome job Matsu@be did on his, I snagged this one off the bay. You can really appreciate his talent after seeing an unpainted one.

Truly great work. You have done an outstanding job on making that thing look real. I not sure if you were working from picture in capturing the detail but, it is outstanding.
