HT must have paid a fortune to get the license! Too bad not my type. But I hope HT can make money on this one so they can continue to get license of other characters that we 1/6 enthusiasts wish to have.

Year of the Mouse??????????? It (will be) the Year of the Rat.
Still, as long as it lets Disney make a buck.............

A pair of 11 inches rodents will surely scare the hell out of my troopers
But seriously, I think they are very well done based on the posted pictures. I would really think about buying a pair if HT make them in Mickey's traditional garb ie black top, red shorts with 2 big yellow buttons on it

I think these look very good. And I agree, if HT goes with traditional Disney design, I will be tempted not only to buy them for myself, but also bring some of them for sale too. I think this goes vert nice along with their whole Movie Masterpiece line.

I'm realy hoping that the Pixar licence goes hand in hand with the Disney one. I'd love to see some super detailed and screen accurate figs from Toy Story and The Incredibles.
But lets face it the whole of the Disney back catalogue is gold dust if done well. HT could do a freakin awsome Pinocchio.

Interesting, not my cup of tea either, but gotta hand it to HT...they're not afraid to try something different. Would really like to see how much that license acquirement cost them...ooouuuch.

I gunna be the Odd Ball and say "HELL YES!!". Sorry but I'm a Disney dork, to me it really is the happiest place on earth.
The artistry is truly amazing. Not going to pre-order, but if I see them and I have the cash, I'm gunna do it.

I'm kind of thinking of getting Mickey for his robes...Might look cool for a Ronin or something. I don't think that the mickey patterns on it would be all that noticeable.

I really like Disneyland too. Used to have Season Passes. I'd like the figure itself, don't have any use for the robes. I'd bash it to a Mickey explorer or something like that...

I hope someone re-translates 'Aciton' figure to 'Action' figure in the ad campaign. Not my thing, but kudos to HT for going out on a limb and doing a great job.

I don't know if anyone is a fan of Kingdom Hearts, but I could find good use for Mickey to make a Kingdom Hearts figure. Or maybe some day Hot Toys might make the figures from the game.

I'm looking at Mickey's robe and seeing a "King and I" bash coming up with a Yule HS...all in all...people will find a use for some of it as long as it's 1/6th scale!

Living in Hong Kong I've seen a lot of Year of the Rat decorations, and I would say 90% of them feature Mickey bloody Mouse.

Even I'd be in if they did him as the Sorceror's Apprentice. I bet even these will be pricey though.

Well since apparently HT has Mickey Mouse license now, Mickey from Fantasia (that's the one you are talking abour, right?) will sure show up sooner or later.
