OMGGGGG. i was just going to buy the art figures saves ( at a huge inflated price) !!
overall looks more movie accurate (gear wise) and and and there is a m320 as well!1!!!!! ( im hoping the m320 can be detached so we can fix it on to other rifles like the 416)

Re: VTS TOYS:1/6 The Revenger

I think Art Figures version still wins on the HS department but yeah overall this figure rocks harder. I love how they try to be as screen accurate as possible and include all the trademark items (the huge-... gun, cleaver, Punisher skull, grenade launcher etc). Definite buy for me. Now can we get Blade please... they can call him The Blake or something...

Re: VTS TOYS:1/6 The Revenger

Yesterday I was scouring Ebay and all the 1/6 sites I could think of for a more reasonably priced Art Figures War Zone Punisher!

And today we see this!

Never bought VTS before. What's quality like? And what about head swaps? I think the Art Figures Ray Stevenson sculpt may be better.

Re: VTS TOYS:1/6 The Revenger

I don't own any VTS but based on pics alone and past reviews, it's safe to say that the quality is on par with SS and DAM/CD etc. If I'm not mistaken, they're related to DAM/CD (they're using the same nude).

I just read on KG Hobby that DAM used to be VTS. So the current VTS sounds like an offshoot.

I never did find out who Simplz were, and their relation to Wild Work.

The mysterious and incestuous world of bootlegs!

This looks like a definite purchase.

I just sold my art figures saves, and have been hating life ever since. I guess now either they will drop in price or I'll just get this one.

Re: VTS TOYS:1/6 The Revenger

Art Figures Saves was one of the near perfect figures that I purchased. The only complaint there is the "soft expression" of the sculpt.

VTS's sculpt definitely looks more serious. It also has more arsenal. He just looks skinny even with the body armor compared with Art Figures' version. Can anyone tell how's the paint app of VTS? If the paint app is the same quality as that of Art-Figures, then I'm ok with it.

IIRC DAM and VTS is the same company. This is pretty cool. I might get this, even though I already have the AF version.

Borrowing SSF Fizzgig's picture of his Art Figures for comparison, I'm starting to prefer the look of the VTS sculpt. I remember people saying the Art one looked sad rather than determined.

Their 'Violence Samurai' was only £75 here, and DAM military £90, which compared to other companies seems reasonable.

Being The Punisher might push up the price, though.

Ahh but this is "The Revenger" and any resemblance to real Punishers, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

This figure looks pretty good - the carbine with the M320 is awesome!

Re: VTS TOYS:1/6 The Revenger

Great timing! I'm just upgrading both my movie Punishers at the mo. I was wondering where that new Ray S. hs came from, I saw it loose on the web. Love the revolver/magnum, knife/cleaver and grenade launcher/M320!!

Phew! That was lucky! If he was The Punisher he'd be £200!

Re: VTS TOYS:1/6 The Revenger

I love the Internet Movie Firearms Database.

So, this figure is loaded with a pair of Beretta 92FS Inox pistols; a Smith & Wesson Model 500 Performance Center Magnum with a Knight's Armament RIS setup, tactical flashlight, laser, and a black suppressor installed; and a custom M4A1-type carbine equipped with KAC Quad-rails, a C-More red dot optic sight, an Advanced Armament Corp M4-2000 suppressor, and a short-barreled AG36 grenade launcher!

The only glaring difference I can see is that the VTS S&W has a fluted cylinder, whereas the Performance Center is unfluted:

It is looking solid. I’m particularly impressed by the quality of the HS and the handsculpt.

And apparently no indentations for the bolt to lock the cylinder!

However, my enthusiasm for this figure isn't diminished, as I still can't believe I'm seeing this a day after seriously looking at getting an Art version.

No offense...but I don't care. I like this!!!! will be picking this up. But to be honest I will take everything but the body and head and place it on another figure I have in mind for this....I know I may be in a minority, but I actually liked the Thomas Jane, and Dolph versions of the Punisher better than Ray Stevenson's

As nice as the Art Figures is, there's an incomplete one on Ebay at the moment that would cost me over £360 to import!

The VTS should be a much cheaper alternative.

Re: VTS TOYS:1/6 The Revenger

Great looking set (except for the shoes)! I might get this.

I have their Zombie Killer and Dark Soldier for less than US$100 each. I hope VTS won't get a bloated ego and inflate their prices like other third-tier companies... You know, those selling $65 heads, $100 clothes and head sets, $80 clothes....
