Photo review: Zodiac CRRC Boat (by Toyrrific)

Hi guys. Got a chance to take a few pics of the Toyrrific Force Boat.

This is very similar in size to the Zodiac F470 Futura Commando CRRC (Combat Rubber Raiding Craft). Well known globally as the definitive Special Forces boat, it is used by more elite soldiers and sailors than any other craft worldwide. It is one of the very few craft of its type that has actually seen real combat in different theatres.

Toyrrifics rendition is nicely detailed with a solid floorboard, inflatable keel and speed tubes, 5 lateral carrying handles on each side, and recessable inflation valves. It also comes with 2 oars, an instruction sheet, and a simple repair kit. MSRP is $39.99.

Nice review R6, thanks for it and the headsup to the drawing.
Looks like a really novel and fun piece, a shame I don't live by any usable bodies of water to play with this in. :/
So, when are you going to break this bad boy out and get some nice waterborne assault/insertion pictures up?

Hmmmmm, this looks very, VERY good!!

I wonder though....the actiongear raft that I bought has a notorious problem of the plug slipping out of the inflation valves after you close it all up. Do you think this one will suffer the same flaw?

Would hate to lay down 40 smackers and have an automatically DE-flating boat on my hands! DOH!

Free raft

Make sure you enter our raffle for the free Force Boat, if you win you can test it yourself www.toyrrific.com/raffle/raffle07.htm

I have not heard of any problems from our boat. There are about 3 stores selling them and you can also read the review that the administrator wrote.

Personal note: I left one on the car for several days after we went to the FX show and the boat still inflated with all their plugs inside, is just a little bit hot but nothing has happened to it.

Thanks again for your nice comments. As soon as we get our new stock in (end of May) I will post pictures of the new items coming on the 3rd quarter. We will have them on the Weekend of Heroes show on June 8-10 if you want to see them in detail.

Arch, as far as I can tell, no auto-deflate"feature" so far. Had it inflated a week or so now.

Quality

Our standards are the same as Toy Soldier, DID, BBI.
Why dont you try them and see for yourself.

We will be having another raffle later on when our new boots arrive. No one has done this boots before. We will have pictures of them by the end of May.

I got to try out one of these before we made our decision on selling them. Very solid boat - good sturdy assembly. Add an outboard motor and you're set. As far as I could tell, no air leaking either...

this looks really nice. I had the Action Toy one, and sold it as fed up with it deflating, but this looks much better. Also just checked your website out, and there are some really nice items on there. Will be placing an order very shortly.

I ordered my boat and did a quick search, found this company - they do 1/8 and 1/9 scale outboard motors...really nice looking, just a tad expensive.
http://www.alterscale.com/

I also found this site, they do a model RIB with outboard for £5GBP - it runs at 450mm lenth, whereas Toyrrific runs at 555mm. So a little smaller, however it;s cheap enough if you just want to use it for the outboard motor

I didn't know there was an outboard motor available to fit these boats, could you give more details please.

I posted a link above but the ones they do are 1/8. I also won a Hasbro zodiac boat on ebay for $10 still boxed, and will be using the outboard from that. There were a few of the hasbro rafts for sale on ebay at good prices, not bad to get the motor plus a spare boat
