Smart move on their part with the Playhouse VBSS Stuff coming. And Battleship was a decent enought Action movie (In my opinion).

YES!!!!!!!
I was going to try and dye some USMC marpat ones to do a "Battleship" bash But now I don't need to!
Even the ball cap has the John Paul Jones on, like Hopper's in Battleship. Very nice detailing on the uniform, and pattern looks good. Will pick up some of these, along with loose parts from the PH VBSS

Brilliantly executed, the cap, the hs, and those lovely NWU!
I wish the brown were more black though, to match the ones I've seen on sailors around here.
But all in all, one set of these and one PH VBSS for me if this year goes well.

This set absolutely rocks! I've been hoping for these before the movie even came out. About time someone represented sailors in these. Coast Guard would be nice too.

A question for any of you who served in the Navy (Thank you!): what are your thoughts on these new unis? I know the rationale for adopting a modified camo pattern was that it made upkeep easier and showed less wear and tear (as opposed to functioning as actual camoflage), but was curious how they've been received. I imagine these are more comfortable as well.

The pattern looks a bit too light, but interesting that someone finally produced it. We'll see how well it sells. If this sells well, maybe they will venture into foreign camo. One can hope...
