If this had come with the original head, I would be so all over it.

Re: 1/6 Toys Box Wolfman
Nice for those who missed out or can't afford the HT one (I built my own) and the different expression is great for alternate poses, the teeth will need a repaint though, looks like he just bit into a can full of white paint! Maybe that's just the flash in the last pic.

Re: 1/6 Toys Box Wolfman
Such a nice set! That's pretty much all you need for a Wolvie figure. The lower teeth looks wierd though...
I wonder what this will cost... A painted Wolvie HT recast is about US$75 in the, uh... grey market..

Looking at the arms on the 2nd pic, that's definitely an Andrew (unless that's a Spartacus Bruce...).
Somehow I like this better than HT's Xmen blacksuit Wolverine!

Wolfman?
Isn't this Wolverine? Without the license? Which will cause them all sorts of problems?

Re: 1/6 Toys Box Wolfman
I don't know if I like this enough to spend $100+ on.
The only things I really like are the claws.
The head is Che screaming.

Agreed. $100 without a body, for a knockoff? Too much.

If only the head sculpt was really good then I think it would be a hot selling item

Oh most definitely!
Even if it didn't look like Jackman but the sculpt was a good representation of perhaps a comic book look the hundred wouldn't hurt so much.
A painted Jackman sculpt runs around $60+, so this $100 isn't completely crazy. It just seems much, to me, because I'm not crazy for the sculpt, the shirt, or the boots.

Re: 1/6 Toys Box Wolfman
I feel like I am in Bizarro world. Where a knock off Wolverine head that looks like a bad Benicio Del Toro, some hands with claws and cheap clothes fetch 100.00...
But people will buy it, thus encouraging the manufacturers to continue the insulting prices...My lovely hobby is so out of control.

Re: 1/6 Toys Box Wolfman
Claw hands are always the kicker with a Wolverine custom. Sometimes you can find a good custom pair, but often they will run you quite a bit. If this was just 30 bucks cheaper, I would seriously consider it - this set, a body, and a Wolverine head off eBay and you have a decent little Wolverine custom with a side head. I just can't do it for $100 - I'll keep on the lookout for custom claw hands and pick up one of the knock off heads.

Man you Cats tickle me sometimes... lol lol .. Nahhh I'm not going to spend 100.00 and then wonder if it was worth it or not... I was thinking " Hmmm 100.00 for head sculpt and Claws[thats all I'd use] I have the right muscular Body[HT] 40.00 for the clothing set pictured below[Jeans and T-shirt]..my total out of pocket to put Wolverine on the shelf 150.00. OR do I wait to see what HT will do with one of the most saught after figures and put that 150.00 on my Pre-order..[Next to Blade]... What to do what to do.

Re: 1/6 Toys Box Wolfman
I agree a bit overpriced. The claws are plastic with a chrome finish and the Indian belt looks a bit thick. I actually like the head sculpt, looks unique. Might buy it loose on ebay.

Re: 1/6 Toys Box Wolfman
Appreciate the idea, but the HS doesn't do it for me. Open mouths are very hard to pull off, think they missed the mark on this one. Something about the forehead and eyes not matching the musculature movement of a screaming dude bugs me too.

HT:Wolverine "2.0" is coming in 2012
I hope the Xmen Wolverine in hero suit shown at Ani-com isn't the 2.0 he talked about...

Re: 1/6 Toys Box Wolfman
I don't know why anyone would spend $100 for a figure set that A) Has little in the way of accessories and B) doesn't have a body. I could only see the head being used for a "Marvel Zombies" Wolverine bash, but that's really it...
