Looks really good, but I cant justify spending $40 on a 1:6 weapon, regardless of detail. If it fired then I'd defiantly buy one thought

Looks kind of crude. Made of cast metal, and laser cut metal, and could use some TLC. It'll need some filing to smooth the edges out.

And Ti-Lite isn't known for their low price tag. I think I'll be passing this time.

I do love the pic of the two rows, with all the different colours of wood.

Good effort, but it does look a bit crude, and the milled receiver limits it's use, since stamped has been more widespread in all continents (although, I've seen some milled receivers on use by afghan troops)

yea, when Soldier story puts out a really nice one at half the price with better detail and finishing I just can not justify the 40 + price tag.

also, one can deduce that each piece will be somewhat unique.

I somehow think the one made by SS is way better than this one. The metal parts look very dull and a bit flat on the details.

I have several Ti-lite wood and metal weapons which I generally liked but have decided not to purchase any more of them until they establish some sort of customer contact and support service.

My most recent purchase (bought two of the German G43 rifle) was wholly unsatisfactory. One rifle was fine but the other one had several issues. Unfortunately, I opened the package with the good rifle first and not until several months later did I remove the second rifle from its packaging. I then discovered the problems with the second rifle. The seller I purchased them from was unable to help as they had long since sold out of the rifle and could not replace it. My attempts to find someone connected with Ti-lite who could perhaps replace the faulty parts was completely unsuccessful.

Has anyone ever found a home web page for Ti-lite or ever contacted a customer support person associated with them?

I had problem with their guns once. I bought 6 MP40, all were from very first batch and had same defect. I made pics and emailed to my seller, he forwarded 'em to Ti-Lite and Ti-Lite sent me 6 brand new MP40s as replacement. I call it great customer service I use to buy 5-15 pieces of each Ti-Lite German guns, sometimes quality is not as good as i wish (wood parts), but i still like it and ready to spend money. I wish they make more WWII German guns...

At current exchange rates, 200 RMB == about $31, which puts it in line with the upcoming M4/M203 from Soldier Story.

Even so, I still agree with the general consensus that this is an awfully high price tag for what you're getting, especially compared to the AK47-style rifles from Soldier Story. But maybe this will goad Soldier Story into releasing their AK's as carded weapons.

Too crude and expensive. Soldier Story’s Type 56s are better, and if you can find them, cheaper.

Poor finish work on the metal and wood components. Top of mag and follower not shown, working pieces? I would say I hope the production piece is better, but it looks like this is the production piece. As mentioned above, the SS metal and wood AK-47 is a nicer piece generally available at a cheaper price. The Russian bayonet is a nice option, but again, poor finish work on it. Severe pass, poor attempt from Ti-Lite.

This is all well and good, but it looks like they lost some serious detail in exchange for using metal parts. I'm also curious as to how heavy the weapon is, because if it is as heavy as it looks, posing with the weapon might be an issue
