Modern Warfare | Custom Russian Spetsnaz Real Felt Beret Showcase

I thought I would share some photos of these custom real felt berets I just received in the mail today. I bought them on eBay, from a seller across the pond in Great Britain. Our young Russian officer with the feral snarl is showing off his hard earned maroon beret, and PP-93 submachine gun with front strap. I simply popped the star beret device off the molded rubber BBi beret, and glued it onto the new one. The felt is to scale and thin, but seems to hold it's shape. I would imagine the standard hat shaping techniques would work well with these berets. You could probably even use a diluted solution of white glue and water to shape them. Well, check it out and tell me what you think!

Nice job Matt. I bought one of Banjoman's berets a few years back. They're very nice. There's also a US based eBay seller that sometimes sells custom berets that are quite nice but unfortunately he hasn't listed any in quite awhile. They aren't quite as nice as Banjoman's but they are a bit more affordable. He also does custom berets so you could probably get him to make some that pull to the left like the MVD wears them. Cool, Banjoman is back. I have a few of his berets and they're pricey but second to none. Last I heard, his real job was preventing him from selling his wares, but it looks like he's back in the game.
