Dear all,
The Dark Knight Rises, the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, is coming in just one day! Celebrating the launch of this highly expected movie, Hot Toys is proud to present the 1/6th scale Bane Collectible Figure from this movie.
The Bane collectible is highly detailed, specially crafted based on the image of Tom Hardy as Bane, highlighting the movie-accurate head sculpt with mask, detailed costume and accessories.

The 1/6th scale Bane Collectible Figure specially features:
- Authentic and detailed fully realized likeness of Tom Hardy as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises movie
- Newly developed head sculpt with undetachable mask
- Approximately 30 cm tall
- TrueType body with over 30 points of articulations
- Five (5) pieces of interchangeable palms including:
n One (1) pair of fists
n One (1) pair of relaxed palms
n One (1) left open palm

- One (1) leather-like brown jacket
- One (1) dark brown shirt

Way too light on accessories. Body seems too thin or too tall. Perfect hs. Wish they'd weather the coat so it doesn't look fresh off the rack. On the fence for this one.

The new Batman figure is the only thing that interests me in this line up, thank heaven.
Avengers take pri or it tay.
That body style is being generous to Tom Hardy.

I think they dont show all accessories as the movie is not released yet.. Lets wait.
But still I will think if I want it.. My money are on the Avengers...

Hardy is not tall, but Nolan made it appear that Bane the character (and not Hardy) is big enough compared to Batman. Going back to the figure, I'm a big Batman fan but for some reason I'm not excited on this. Of course I'll get this, it's just that it's kinda plain. I hate HT for milking Joker, but I was actually more appreciative in the Joker DX 11 than Bane.

The nose and mouth are way off.
joking aside, looks really good, but the body does look a bit thin. I thought Hardy really bulked for the role.

It looks really good to me! But I agree that it is too light on accessories.
I'm not going to preorder, but may get it after release if I can find a deal on it.

mehh..the comic book version is much more interesting than this movie adoptation but hot toys is all about the blockbuster movies so here it is and well...underwhelming is the only word that comes to my mind. NEXT!

Jacket on he looks ok, jacket off he looks a little puny, after all he is meant to be the physical superior to Batman. On the fence after seeing these final pics, was half thinking about adding Bane to the collection, but will wait to see the movie and see what the final price will be.

Well, it's understandable. With that thick jacket, there's no way HT will make his arms and body as puffed up as 1/1. Guess you'll have to use Barney Ross body or KP/ACI muscle nudes.

Well, it could have been a little better. I agree on the body, looks too thin, and an extra HS with an angry expression - like seen in the trailer during the final fight with Batman - would be very welcome.
Anyway... Still gettin' it. Last Nolan's Bat-film, must have it then.

I am not impressed with this announcement release as well based on the prototypes. The face should have more details to make it more realistic like Bruce Wayne HS. It should do some more justice. And I would like it with the leather jacket. Initially I thought somebody made a heck of bash. They could have done it better. Or maybe they will release a DX version??

Exactly! Thats how he looks in the movie so HT did a good job. I perfer the comic version tho were hes all roid raged out. I still like this one b/c its pretty movie accurate. I just hope in the movie he gets on the venom and really beefs up. Then HT can do a DX Bane! |

As a figure, it's spot on. Hot Toys always does a good job with that.
But, (and you knew it was coming)...
The movie version ain't Bane. The guy's supposed to be huge and get huger (more huge) when he take a shot of the "juice." Perhaps they do all that with CG in the movie, I don't know.
In any case, I'm losing everything (including interest) in translation.
