Roger Moore Wild Geese UPGRADE
Hi folks,
just completed a little upgrade of my Shaun Fynn/Wild Geese figure. I swapped the SST Bond body/head for a DiD body and Headplay sculp.
He's gone from this:
To this:

Nice!
That Headplay sculpt really works. It's a lot better than I thought it was.

Yep, Roger, it certainly is. The first time I saw it, it didn't look all that good, but I saw better shots of it and it did seem to have a good likeness. In hand it's very nice indeed. Cheers!

Great likeness and nice model, just an observation, the beret you used is military police red and the one worn in the movie was a para beret with I believe was a Irish guards cap badge. Otherwise its only a small detail ad. Still like the figure. Well done.

The only one that I was keen on was the one I got and that was the old Sean Connery. That was really nice and made a perfect Henry Jones. Why they didn't let that sculptor do all the heads and slow down production a little is beyond me.
Now you need to find Richard Harris, Richard Burton and Hardy Kruger (He was in that wasn't he!?).

Re: Roger Moore Wild Geese UPGRADE
only suggestion I have is soak that beret in hairspray then shape it... once dry it will keep the shape.. right now it looks kind of like a muffin on his head..

Re: Roger Moore Wild Geese UPGRADE
Ive always though that companies like DML can still be in the game and the sculpts make a large difference. I picked up some of their Saving Private Ryan sculpts and was gladly surprised by the quality. This figure porves what ive always though. HUGE difference.

That's good,
I've only seen the movie once, and then seen the out-takes countless times on It'll Be Alright On The Night!

Re: Roger Moore Wild Geese UPGRADE
Much better 'sculpt. If you're going to pose him with the silenced Browning (I figure that's what it must be) he needs a cigar to go with it! :-)

Re: Roger Moore Wild Geese UPGRADE
He does need a cigar, never got round to getting him one, did see one a while back, hot toys I think, but it was going to be £10, which I thought was a lot. Love the quote!

Re: Roger Moore Wild Geese UPGRADE
Very nice, and a heck of an improvement with that sculpt. Roll your own ceegar from paper, putty, or even a shaved-down chunk of toothpick.

I do have an uzi for him, it's usually slung over his shoulder but wasn't when I took these shots.

Re: Roger Moore Wild Geese UPGRADE
Might have to see if I can get hold of one, I have him with a silenced browning. (think it's a browning anyway, dml)
