Re: Questions about Medicom Real Action Heros bodies..

I like the RAH figures a lot. I even used them in my stop-motion film Heroes Faith I ( http://www.youtube.com/actionfiguremovies ).

What I hate is that some of them break way too much in the shoulders and hips. I broke my spider-man 4 times while making my movie. Needles to say I became an expert at fixing him, but at the prices these figure are I shouldn’t have to be. I do not know if these are still problem with medicoms newer figure. I hope so. I’m still hesitant to purchase anymore though.

i would say 2011, because both the geonosian jango and ROTJ boba fett utilize the new body...where as the first two releases of the fetts used the older, darker, brittle body.

Ah ok. Im interested in a couple of figures they released in 2009. Its so strange to read of such a major wel-known and so overpriced a toy maker producing such an inferior quality product for so long. I really want the Ultraman Leo Gen Otori figure, but not with such a risk connected to it.

Obitsu 27cm bodies are great replacement bodies and they are cheap and seriously strong. Plus the hands and feet fit into them perfectly. I replace my Kamen hibiki body and haven't had any problems at all.

They're small, very posable, super human posable as they put it, never broken one but never tried either, probably best not to. The more complicated something is the harder it is to fix! Learnt that in mechanic's school!LOL.

Re: Questions about Medicom Real Action Heros bodies..

I personally find the Medicom RAH to be the most well articulated figure available. Much of the problem lies in the brittleness of the material and the looseless/fragility of the joints. If Medicom can successfully address these issues, the RAH would probably be my base figure of choice. (And when that day comes, all my Alfrex figures will get an upgrade.)

Re: Questions about Medicom Real Action Heros bodies..

I'm assuming its the obitsu muscle body used as the replacement? The slim version seems too skinny. How does the body stack up once in costume? Neither body seems to have the same frame as the Medicom one. Of Course the pictures on ebay aren't the best either...
