Does this exist in 1:6?
I'm trying to track down a cloth US map case for one of my figures. I cant find one anywhere and I've checked most stores and searched ebay relentlessly a few times. The only things I've been able to find are german map cases, and sadly those wont pass for a Vietnam era map case

Mike, can it be closed or do you need it to be detailed on the inside?

It'd be nice if it could open, but so long as its cloth and looks the part it doesn't really matter.
Thanks for the link, I'll have to check the site out

Yup - I was just about to say. Auggie does some great ones. I just got one through in the mail yesterday in fact in a nice khaki, but Auggie does them in all correct colours they were found in.

They came with some of the airborne figures made by DID.

Re: Does this exist in 1:6?
I thought DiD had made some but all my searches came up with nothing on ebay, and my thinking is if it is on ebay (or monkeydepot and cotswold) it doesnt exist . The plan was to get the WW2 version and repaint it.
They do have them in the right shade at Battlegear so I might go with them on this.

Re: Does this exist in 1:6?
Well....here is one that I made. Its not perfect but its ok.....but the one Battle Gear makes really puts mine to shame. But they don't make the tiny Staedler map pens...let me know if you're interested. They are pretty easy to crank out.

Re: Does this exist in 1:6?
i think alot of the ww2 US figs has "musette" bags
i thought they were used for medical supplies, but i guess it could be used for anything
it sort of resembled a messenger bag, so a map and navigation supplies could also be transported also i supppose
